On January 23, Ha Jung-woo shared a photo on his social media with the caption “Have a good day.”
The post quickly captured the attention of fans, showcasing the actor attending the press screening for his latest film “Broken,” alongside fellow actor Kim Nam-gil. The image not only highlighted their close working relationship but also sparked curiosity among Ha Jung-woo’s followers, prompting a lively interaction in the comments section.

When one fan playfully asked, “Did you shoot a BL?”, Ha Jung-woo responded in a cheeky manner, “I should shoot one with Nam-gil.” His reply, which hinted at a potential collaboration in the Boys Love (BL) genre, instantly caught the eye of fans.
This isn’t the first time Ha Jung-woo has caused a stir with his remarks about BL. Earlier, during his appearance on “Connect! Movie World,” he had openly discussed his interest in working on a BL project with Kim Nam-gil. The two actors have already worked together on multiple films, including the mystery horror “The Closet” and the crime thriller “Broken.”
When the hosts asked the pair about what genre they would like to explore next, Kim Nam-gil casually replied with “Comedy,” while Ha Jung-woo confidently and boldly responded with, “BL?”
As the conversation continued, the actor jokingly added, “Isn’t this something that can’t be done on public TV? I’ll take that back,” acknowledging the sensitivity of the topic in a playful way.
Nevertheless, he quickly clarified his stance by saying, “Normal BL,” emphasizing that his comment was made in jest and not to be taken too seriously.
